Can someone please save an hour of my life and tell me what's the "fatal flaw" in this guitar?

I've just got one of this kind with 2 channels. But unfortunately with no gain. What's the simpliest way to get a built in gain stage (not with a pedal)?

I have the guitar and I initially struggled with the tremol-no noise and friction but it’s about finding the sweet spot with the tremol-no rod when it’s perfectly straight once the screws on the body attached to the bar are properly balanced . It will have no issues at all. Hope that helps. Only thing I struggled with it was having low action with 10-46 gauge . Trade offs were too much relief on the neck or bring the action higher . After a lot of trials over the years, I settled with the little higher action without affecting the playability and its perfect now but I planned to sell it many times before that . But I don’t think I will have sell the guitar as the pups on this guitar makes it sounds like a violin and you can buy the pickups as aftermarket on their own if I am not wrong

Fender STILL puts that crap on their bridges?! lol My '93 Strat plus had a doohickey like that on the springs. Hated it, and never understood why anyone would design such a dumb contraption. The G&L dual-fulcrum bridge is far superior, and I won't look back.

If the board does crap out will it still play through an amp? Or does the pickup circuit always run through the onboard effects/amp board?

The average amp buyer wouldn't know what he's looking at if he looked inside of the amp. So because a dealer does not show the inside of an amp does not mean they're trying to hide something. Ridiculous.

The tremel-no is not setup correctly. I've set one up before and it's a tedious task to get it setup correctly. As for the lack of fine tuners, the original floyd did not have them and Guthrie has said that they get in the way when he's playing.

It needs an external jack for use with a real amplifier, but after looking at the guitar and seeing the product review I see that it has that as well as a headphone jack

Okay so before I even click play on the video, lemme share a quick story. Once upon a time, I was able to buy a number of guitars, had about $11k to spend. I ended up getting a Guthrie Sig Charvel, a Suhr Modern satin, a Tom Anderson Drop Top and I think I had the Schecter Custom Shop HSS style guitar they make. The one that was hardest to play for whatever reason was the Guthrie, I couldn’t figure out why. Until I was up on stage with very bright lights and I learned very quickly, the flaming of the fretboard made it impossible for me to see where I was and for songs that started with a particular guitar part with the lights on, I just couldn’t see where I was at. I sold it immediately after along with everything else till I bought my Suhr Modern Pro which I still have to this day. I really wanted to love the Guthrie sig but that’s the thing that made it unplayable for me

The TRADITIONAL way of the guitar was invented by Antonio de Torres in Sevilla in 1835. Telecaster is pretty futuristic, built like a assemblyline car. Genius. And pretty forward thinking.

Wonder if you have the app can you change someone’s guitar on them while they’re playing. Yep evil idea (hopefully you have to accept the change on the guitar to prevent this).

I had an 70s Deluxe LP (with a pro neck repair done at Rudys NYC ) and a guy offered me a newer DC Gibson , I told him I am giving you a vintage instrument and you want to give me a new guitar and he started to scratch his head and then told me he had another guitar that was also a newer Strat "deluxe player" , so i told him the same thing I can't trade a vintage guitar for a new one , after a while he just didn't know what to do so I told him lets not waste our time here , if you give me both guitars we have a deal , started scratching again , lol , but at the end he said yes , and the deal was done , your deal was ok since you looked like you were tired seeing that strat , it just didn't do anything for you , I am personally a used LP freak , but not to much with the new ones , in this case I think you are right , the LP might have better younger buyers instrested , knowing me I would have traded ****vintage for vintage*** , but you did good , you got some beer money lol , hat off on the video , love it , waiting on the second part , can't wait to see what happened to the LP , hats off , Alfred NYC / PR
